Calm

Conceptual Brand Identity // 2024

Pacific Calm is a conceptual lifestyle gym located in the Pacific Northwest. Providing both health club and spa services, it focuses on physical, as well as emotional, health. They prioritize holistic well-being , cultivating mindful practices, and educating on sustainable choices for body fitness. Through a supportive community built on the power of connection and shared purpose, it aims to create positive impact, celebrate racial & body diversity, and uplift it’s clientele.

  • The prompt established that the owner would want the brand to emphasize stress reduction, and doesn’t want to be seen as “just another spa.” The logo must be simple and contain a reference to water, a tie-in to it’s Pacific Northwest location. Masculine design aesthetics should be avoided since this is a women-centric health club. The design must also incorporate the brand tagline: “Love. Yourself. Healthy.”

  • For the Pacific Calm brand manual, I developed a holistic visual identity that blends emotional storytelling, symbolic logo design, and audience-centered strategy. I created a feminine-focused color palette rooted in Pacific regional elements, built a clear typographic system, and designed packaging-ready assets for spa and fitness applications. The project showcases my skills in layout design, conceptual mapping, and translating brand values into cohesive, high-impact visuals.
